Black-Council is an independent underground label based in the Frankfurt region, dedicated to supporting and promoting the full spectrum of extreme metal. Born from the scene itself, we understand the challenges faced by emerging artists and offer a platform built on authenticity, passion, and creative freedom.
Our core mission is the exclusive digital distribution of music from local and regional metal acts, ensuring their work gains visibility far beyond their immediate surroundings. In addition to distribution, we provide a range of supportive services — including promotional assistance, guidance in developing demo recordings, and strategic advice for new releases. We aim to empower artists at every stage of their journey, from early demos to fully realized productions.
Despite our underground roots, Black-Council stands for openness, integrity, and respect. We firmly reject all forms of extremism and uphold a clear stance against discriminatory ideologies of any kind. Our goal is to strengthen the regional extreme-metal community, amplify authentic voices, and help underground talent find its place on the global stage.
